It’s too warm for hats in Paris

It's too warm for hats in Paris (hooray!) but that doesn’t mean designers aren’t furiously churning them out in anticipation of next fall.  At Felipe Oliviera Baptista models wore faux racoon hats.  They were slightly more chic than Davy Crockett’s but may fare better in stores without the tails.  At Rochas, Marco Zanini’s retro collection featured cropped crewneck sweaters, long skirts, silk dresses with corset bodices and funny little furry hats perched just on top of half the models’ heads.  And lastly, at Sacai’s charming presentation this afternoon, designer Chitose Abe gave a few of her looks particularly furry embellishments.  The woolen knits wrapped around models’ heads with leather belt-like buckles for a fuzzy helmet effect.
